United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey

My RRS 2006 has the audio module in the glove box along with an iPod 30 pin cable.

I brought a 30 pin to lightning connector for my iPhone 5, I plug it in, select AUX on the stereo and it all plays as well as charging my phone.

Surely you must be able to connect a similar iPod cable to the back of your stereo and do the same ?

Does anyone actually know where the 30 pin iPod cable connects to the stereo unit? 2006 RRS SC Bonatti Grey (the 55th car/van I have owned)

Land Rover sell an interface unit to do exactly this. It's available from all main dealers but I got a much better deal from the USA.
I recently upgraded my iPhone 4 to the 5-S and everything still works normal although I had to buy a ten quid lightning adaptor for the pluggin bit. Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.

Bluetooth music library in a '61 RRS

Hi Folks,
I was scanning the site for a link to an iPod cable for my iPhone 5S so I could play music but noticed a mention of having a music library available by bluetooth. My phone is connected to 'phone' function by bluetooth, so should I be able to use the music library as well? Or does it have to be an iPod, not an iPhone?
I just picked up a '11 RRS - first one for me, so apologies if this is common knowledge!
Best regards,
Chris.

Same question really...

I've already got the official iPod / iPhone cable in my centre console glove box, but it's for the old style connection. Now I've got myself an iPhone 6 (ooh err, fancy eh), is there an official LR cable with the 'lightning' connector at one end?
If so, where to buy (nothing on LR site or Duckworth's)? 2016 VW Golf GTD DSG

I too want to connect iPhone 5 to play music but don't have any cable. Will I need to buy the original LR 30pin cable and then buy the 30pin to lightening adapter?

Seem's odd to me there isn't a 30pin to lighting cable that goes straight in...loads of cars and stereos for that matter have the original 30 pin connecter Confused 2010 RRS 3.0 TDV6 - Bali Blue / Ivory Leather / Extended Leather / TV / Rear Entertainment / Privacy Glass / Timed Climate
