Hi Funduro60,

Could I be cheeky and ask for a closer pic of one of the wheels?

unfortunately.. the side protection strips do very little to protect from dings....

If all cars were the same height and dimensions... and all doors were completely flat and straight they would be amazing ! Laughing

The best protection, although , still far from infallible .. are the side steps which protude a little further out... but still don't protect against the dreaded transit or camper van !! 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

And here are the photos - sorry for the delay been busy with work. have one in the sun and the others in the shade. I am in love with these wheels so far. Unfortunately they are not squeaky clean as have done quite some mileage these past 2 days

Gosh, those pictures look as if they protrude outwards from the tyres. Given my track record of scuffing wheels, they'd look terrible in no time at all. Brave man! Mark

All rims are liable to scuffs if you hit a kerb - that's my experience. The only time they are not is when they are fitted with thick winter tyres.

By the way checked them well this morning and they don't protrude outwards at all - seriously. Ultimately though it might also depend on the choice of tyres. I have the new all year round tyres which are good for summer and also good for mud and snow. Hope this helps
