Hi Ben, not yet. Been contemplating for a few years but not yet gone for it. Still swaying between a 5 series Touring or a RRS. Love this forum and the folks on here seem great. I sometimes want to buy one to feel like a fully fledged member on here!! How mad is that?

Go for the RRS. I will be collecting my second RRS next week, just love these cars. Cool 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

Fair play to you for that! You must have some pretty big spuds to take such a lovely car through that!

I do admire you using the car to its full capabilities though Smile Bow down Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi

I wonder whether the new wade sensors would have helped you decide to stop or carry on. What's the view here? Are they a gimmick or a useful driving aid? Mark

Probably have such a safely margin built in that would 'alarm' then you stop and either get pushed off the road or cause more damage by reversing or losing the bow wave.

That picture has been photoshopped Muddy. Rolling with laughter

Here is the original (look at the reflections in the water relative to the RAI and roof rack and the water line on the side of the Disco). Still quite deep and I'd want a RAI if I was going that deep even though he reckoned the bow wave would have kept the air intake clear (as it is on the original picture).
