If you have already taken delivery of the new RRS in the UK and not pre selected the £1000 remote heat option, could you advise whether you have manual timed climate (i.e. selected from the Extra Features menu) and Rest heat from the Climate controi.
The object here is to ascertain whether you have an auxiliary heater fitted and enabled, such has been the norm on Disco 3+4 models and the outgoing RRS.

I've an ATB and I didn't add the £1000 heater option. Annoyingly I'm not with my car right now so cannot positively confirm but I don't recall having any kind of heater options in the additional menus. I'll have to double check at the weekend when with car though.

I'm already a little miffed that there's less standard kit on the ATB than there was on my old TDV8 HSE I had 5 years ago. I (wrongly) assumed that the ATB would come fully loaded.

I have the HSE Dynamic and did not spec the option. I do not have the manual timed climate or the rest heat options in the extras screen. Just had a quick look under the bonnet and if the FBH is there it looks quite different from the one on the RRS1 I will have a better look in the daylight. MY 2014 HSE Dynamic

I'm trying to find out if LR are not now fitting the aux heaters as standard to the RRS....as is looking likely. Looks like they have quietly deleted this item unless you pay £1000.
