when is a spare wheel a full size wheel?

Hi,

have noticed on the bay of fleas that there seem to be a number of early style 5 spoke alloys wheels getting advertised

all seem suitable to take a 255 50 19 tyre but.... believe they are the type used for the spare?

some have the reduced speed sticker on them 50mph/80 kph and many don't Confused

mainly black wheels as well

Does anyone know, is it the tyres that are speed restricted or is it the wheels Question

If it is the wheels and you put standard tyres on them, you could have some BIG problems/insurance issues?

could be very scary Shocked Shocked

or may be not could the wheels be fine for normal use ............ anyone know Confused Porsche Cayenne 2022

Maybe the scumbags who pinch the spares wait until they've got four and sell them as a full set! Mad 2016 VW Golf GTD DSG
