Spare Wheel question (255/55/19 General grabber AT)

Hi Guys, a quick question (apologies if this has been asked before), Will a 255/55/19 AT tyre fit where the spare wheel should go? If so would it knacker the winch?

regards

Should be fine. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

The /55 is 25mm larger in diameter than the /50.

Out of interest, why are you going for the /55 over the /50 aspect ratio tyre? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I assume he's going to be running 255/55 on the road and wants to carry the same size as a spare... Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I have two sets of wheels, I use the AT tyres with 19" wheels when going to Morocco or doing a bit of off roading. The 20" set are for motorways etc. I initially had only 4x 19" wheels, but thought there might be an issue should I need to use the spare, originally designed for use with the 20" rims. I've just purchased a used rim and new tyre to have a same size spare but have not yet tried to fit it on the spare wheel winch.
