I had Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico (M+S) and believe that was the set the car originally came with when new. So they did at least 35k miles and had around 3mm left when I replaced them. Now got Michelin Latitude Diamaris for summer and Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme 4 for winter. Can recommend these 3 makes Thumbs Up

TYRES & REPLACEMENTS!

LR Dealer fitted new set Accelera iota's on my 2006 HSE at 34k miles when I bought it.

No off-road work, tow twin axle caravan and now exceeded 30k on these tyres with generally good tread still left. No subsequent issues other than a puncture requiring tyre replacement and allegedly, small garage used then could not source same brand Accelera and a Hankook Venus was used and no problem there either except their rather rich price!!

Although could wait, prefer to replace with winter ahead and some rough old New Forest roads as don't want to take risks and have 3 options in my mind.

1 Use the budget Acellera again.

2 New set Hankooks and odd use one on now as new spare.

3 Fit General Grabbber GT's

Be pleased to hear any views from members? Baza G

I think I'd go with option 3. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
