UMBRELLAS!

I was wondering if anyone has found a Range Rover Sport umbrella yet? I could have done with one this morning. Are these being made or is this something RRSport.co.uk could make up? 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

How about putting the same design as the stickers on an umbrella? I think Martin owns the copyright to the sticker - would you be up for it? 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Excellent idea.. i for one would buy a couple of these to go inside my RRS for the wintery showers clearly on their way!

This forum is turning very productive and a lot of good advice and merchandise is already being churned out! You'll have to open a shop up soon Martin to advertise all the various products now available.

I have a little suggestion too for another product. Basically Overfinch are the only ones producing and selling exhaust tips for the RRS, which as far as i know are just exhaust tips, not the system or anything, for a whopping £500ish.. does anyone know of a metal works company who could produce these/similar tips with the RRS Logo on the side instead and offer these out.

Basically to fit the overfinch ones, you chop off the end of the bent tailpaipes we have on the TD and shuv the new tips with the rods on and secure. Surely we could have something made up to do this job and still make it profitable at half Overfinch's price?

Would the guys who made the Sills beable to work out some prices for something like this? They obviously work to high quality looking at them sills.

I agree Kam100 it would be agood idea to have a section on the forum where any products relating to RRS could be listed along with contact details - pics - spec - prices & options etc. This way if members/owners like ourselves are involved we can hopefully design/source the right products & as you rightly put it - the right quality.

Here is more food for thought. Anyone who has the 6230/6230i phone & does'nt own or use the cradle adaptor ( like me ) ie let bluetooth do its thing. I have found that the ashtray comes in really usefull as a phone holder. I have modified it slightly - only to the extent of fixing a small strip of adhesive black foam/tape/padding to sides & front and hey presto the phone slots in perfectly ( does'nt get scratched ) and is held firmly in place. Much better than chucking it in the front cup holders.

Wouldn't a sticker on an umbrella fall off in the rain?

Thanks, MDP. I'm fine except this waiting is slowly killing me .... .

As I explained to Biggles, we are expecting the first RRS here sometime early January. Again, not LR UK's fault. We have some serious import permit issues over here which hopefully will be resolved in a couple of weeks. Then there's the shipment time, etc. etc. On the other hand, things can still go wrong and we will have a new 'delivery date' again.

Meanwhile, just can watch this forum, get a little angry but also getting a little smarter! Lots to learn here, about the cars and also the people!

Cheers!!! Malaysia Boleh!
