Warranty, servicing and assistance

Probably should have checked this before I placed my order but am I right in thinking that the new RRS comes with 3 years warranty and roadside assistance?
I also notice that land rover offer a 5year service pack for 749 or something. Do people tend to take this option up or is it not worth the paper it's written on when it actually comes to a service? Having owned a couple of Porsches I dream of one service costing 749 let alone 5 years worth. 2010 997 Carrera S

Correct, 3yrs. Pretty much standard in the UK except for Porsche which charges you a cheeky £1k for the 3rd yr.
I think the £749 pack is new for the RRS and is pretty much a no brainer even for 3 yrs

Yep, on the train on my way to pick up my new Corris ATB now and I'll be taking the 5 year servicing plan too. Definite no brainer.

England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

That looks like a good deal for 5 years worth of services!

Does this stay with the vehicle or can you transfer it on to a new car in the furure?

Details are on the landrover.com site under the owners section. There may be some devil in the detail (or I might just be scarred by porsche where every service came in at £1500+)
Strange that landrover dont make more of a deal about the warranty and assistance - wasn't in any of the brochures i looked at 2010 997 Carrera S

I have taken the 5 year service plan. It is transferable to subsequent owners.
If you read the documentation it covers oil and filters etc and says that it includes top up of fluids eg brake fluid 'if required' I asked if this covered flushing and replacement of the brake fluid and was told that it does. I question then why it does not list this. Audi, BMW encourage you to change brake fluid every 2 years, charge you handsomely for it of course' , so reading the cover it seems that JLR do not automatically change the brake and clutch fluids at service?

If anyone has any other info re this I would be v interested. MY 2014 HSE Dynamic
