Got this letter this morning regarding a recall for RRS with 19 inch wheels!

Letter.

I too came in from work to this letter. Crying or Very sad Will call dealer in the morning suggest everyone with 19" wheels contacts dealer ASAP. Rimini Red HSE (D).Gone but not forgotten!
Subaru Impreza Turbo (UK) 1998- had her since new,could not part with her. Used for weekend blasts! Pehaps the Best 4by4byFar!

I am not suprised to hear about these type of issues - the pipe/hose routing must be extremely tight underneath considering all the suspension movement required.

United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Chawton White

Since VA's letter does not mention it, the following RRS VINs are affected by the "brake hose" recall: 6A900129 through 6A949108. Note that the recall only affects vehicles fitted with 9Jx19" wheels without Brembo brakes.

There is another safety-related recall for the Sport, VINs affected are 6A900294 through 6A957409. A transfer case control module software reflash is necessary to fix the potential issue (with the ignition switched off and the shifter not in Park, it may still be possible to remove the key from the ignition, a safety hazard.)
