Ok so, I’ll work on the photos.

Unfortunately the sun has been taken away today & replaced by a carpet of grey (again) so it’s not really a “Kodak Day”!!

However I am led to believe that sunshine is ordered again for tomorrow, Sunday, so perhaps I can do the sport justice then with some photos.

In the meantime though………….I’m off for a drive !!! Cool

In a word……..”Awesome !” Cool

It’s a quantum leap from the Disco 3 I traded.

Obviously it goes without saying that the styling & interior is far superior than the D3. But then they are two different cars, for two different markets. So it’s rather down to personal taste there. I liked the D3, but did find the interior somewhat utilitarian in design. But then that’s what the D3 is all about. The sport is a much plusher car aimed at the luxury end of the market.

The main thing I’ve noticed is that it’s a much sharper drive than the D3. The handling is excellent, turn in is much more positive & the brakes, they’re just so responsive. It makes the brakes on the D3 feel very spongy by comparison. I can just imagine what the Brembos must be like on the Supercharged Sport. Shocked

It just a much tidier vehicle all round. I haven’t felt as instantly at home in a new car for many years, as I do now with the sport. It’s not half as unwieldy has the D3 felt on narrow twisting country roads. I always felt very “big” on the country roads in the D3, but not so at all in the sport.

I had reservations about trading my D3 after having it for only a little over a year, particularly when I had no trouble with it at all. I wondered if changing so soon & spending even more money, was a good idea. But I can tell you that within a very short time after getting the sport, I knew I had done the right thing & that it was worth every penny.

I haven’t done much over the weekend other than just spin around, but tomorrow (Tue) I’m off on quite a long drive, so I’m well looking forward to that. Very Happy
