Conversely technology enhancements, manufacturing process improvements, reduction in parts, increased volume orders, reduction in costs of components, new suppliers, cheaper processes and cheaper component costs will have helped to. Mike

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue

The price is slightly daft when a new Fullfat SE with some toys is 83 grand. Think they have got their prices messed up 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

The new basic SE is £51550 and the S/C is £81550. So the basic prices have increased a bit but then the technology in them is a bit higher spec too (at least in the S/C, anyway).

Although pricing has marched on with inflation, it's a shame my salary hasn't had similar inflationary rises. As it is my spending power has dropped significantly over the same period......guess I'm not a LR target customer......

Inflation is one thing...for me its the distinct lack of spec for the same money...if the HSE new version had the same spec as the HSE outgoing for the new few K more fine...but i sound like a broken record Mike
