United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
Turbo A Performance Control Sensor

Help...

Had an Engine System Warning for a while, a while back. Had a new Turbo to fix that (ouch!)
but almost immediately had a new Engine System Warning. No great shakes, no red lights on the dash,
just the irritating LCD message.

Anyway, long story short, had it on a diagnostic thing yesterday and it said "Turbo A Performance Control Sensor".

Anyone tell me what the Censored that might mean? Do I just need a new sensor bearing in mind the Turbo is
basically brand new?

Thanks all...

Ive just had a similar fault. Basically mine came up with an engine system fault. It went in and the diagnostic said turbo fault. I had the turbo replaced as the electronic control system thats on the side of it failed. It was all warranty so didnt cost me. From what I can gather or assume, the control system is an integrated part of the turbo so you cannot just replace one without the other. So it looks like the turbo needs to come off again possibly to resolve the issue you have.

I know the garage said to me that its a stupid place to put the control unit, as its on the side of the turbo and obviously is affected by all the heat thats generated. Why they couldnt put a vacumn hose and reposition it somewhere else is beyond them.
