Have had conti's on an xc90 agree they are a poor tyre for an all weather suv or 4x4,

We have Goodyear F1's on the RRS, very pleased under all conditions thrown at car so far. Noise is not an issue either, and they look good with their directional tread P400e HSE Portofino Blue and Ivory Seats.. it's like a yacht!!

Can't agree with you Mr. B. I have Conti's on my XC90 and they're wonderful in the wet (this is Belgium after all)...fine on rough and muddy track but pretty much useless on snow (I'm running 18" wheels) - I mount Dunlop M&S tyres for the winter. I do like the F1 though...nice tyre 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

Says it al really, crap on snow/slippy mud - thus they are not all weather !, you don't need to be changing tyres on our trucks any more than you have to. Wink At least we agree on F1's..... P400e HSE Portofino Blue and Ivory Seats.. it's like a yacht!!

Belgium 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Well, I finally caved and ordered the Stormers from the dealer - they'll be fitted with Goodyear F1's - and will be trading in the 19" wheels and tyres as I figured out I can buy after market 19" with winter tyres at an overall cost below what the dealer wanted for the Stormers withtout the trade in. So I'm also looking for 19" wheels mounted with winter tyres also... 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

Australia 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I have Michelin 4x4 Diamaris 275/40R20 on my Stormers and so far I have been very happy with them although I have only done 1600km on them. They seem to ride very comfortably and are quiet although I think they would be pretty useless offroad. It is obviously pretty dry here in Western Australia compared with your weather in Europe. We have just had our driest June on record, Only 23mm for the entire month. Being winter here it would normally would be around the 100mm for June.

With the long straight hot roads, I have had the tyres nitrogen filled which ensures the tyres do not get to hot and maintain constant pressure. As with ST, I also have a set of 19's with Continental CrossContact's which I use for offroad work although they are not much chop in any serious country. 2006 RRS TDV6, Java/Alpaca, Dynamic Response Pack, Tow Pack, Head and Tail light protectors, 20" Stormers, Roof Rails, S/C Grill and Side Vents, Tasmods. AutoLogic mod.
1988 RR Highline, 3.5 EFI Arctic White, ARB Bullbar, Roof Rails, 15" Alloys, Front and Rear light Grilles, Side steps. (Still going strong)
