Tyre size on front

Hi I have a 08 sport, tyres on it are 275,40,20. Would it make much of a difference if one of the fronts were changed to 275,45,20??? So basically on the front they would be different as one 40 and one 45. Before you ask I've got a tyre in the garage that's a 45 and saves me buying another. Thanks

Personally i would not do it coupled to the fact that its not really legal to do that. Tyres should be in matching sizes on the same axle unless of course its a space saver that is speed limited.

If the worst came to the worst and you had a serious collision and the car was taken away for an exam, the report would highlight this etc etc.
