Off road pack cost?

Hi all,

i paid a deposit to join the queue for an early delivery Sport here in Australia. I, like many, have been disappointed that LR have made a two speed transfer box an option now. How much can i expect to pay for the 'off road pack' for those who've ticked this option in Europe?

Iam thinking Corris w. Black roof and Tan interior but will need to wait and see what will be offered when Australian specs and pricing are released toward the middle of the year.

Thanks

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

In the UK I have heard £3500 as the number for the "Off road pack" - aside from the low range gears and the e-diff I don't know what else is in the pack to get to that price. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

What "off road pack"? I haven't seen that in the configurator. Also haven't seen an option for a lockable rear diff anywhere either - unless they're going to use their torque vectoring system to do. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Im with RRSTDV8...ive not seen an off road pack...or locking diff - if that could be an option i would be back interested on the HSE, maybe Shocked Laughing

As i understand the Dynamic packs get you the Terrain Response 2 Auto and the low range back.

Which takes it from 59995 to 64995 so £4k which is already £1000 more than the current HSE with the same technology - meaning £5k just to have the same technology as you currently get Shocked Mike

In the US, customers need to spec the Offroad pack to get the twin speed transfer box.

See pages 46 and 49.
http://www.landrover.com/content/us/pdf/l494-pdf

I would assume this will be the case globally and the UK configurator just isn't clear on this detail. Infact i can see no mention of any of cars on the UK configuration, HS, HSE, HSE Dynamic or Autobiography coming with Terrain Response 2.

Are we sure that the Dynamic Pack adds the off road features (Terrain Response 2)? From my understanding, the Dynamic Pack added purely cosmetic 'sports' features with bigger wheels etc. Similar to the Msport pack on BMWs or AMG pack on Mercs.

Its really clear (says it) at the end of the configurator where it shows spec. Thumbs Up

The septics get the chance of the low range box and TR2 in lower spec form though. And they get a 3.0 supercharged petrol too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

For U.K. on the HSE there are 2 option packs. When you are on the configure 1st page then you will see the options tab below the Landrover emblem (It's only there on the HSE MODEL)

1st is the Off road pack (£410) and comprises of Terrain response 2, Hi / Low transfer box and Adaptive Dynamics.

2nd option is On/Off-Road Pack (£3370) and comprises of Terrain Response 2, Hi / Low transfer box, Dynamic Response, Torque Vectoring by braking and Dynamic program.

You cannot have both options together (which make sense) and if you choose the HSE Dynamic then the 2nd option is included in the standard spec but you are paying £5000 above the HSE spec but also includes a few other options. Dave.

Well spotted. I still think it's stupid that the off road pack isn't an option on the SE too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
