Venture Cam is a video camera that is viewed through the Nav screen. I don't think they work on RRS or D3. You can mount the camera outside the car to film yourself driving through a tricky section off road or usee it like a reversing camera.

No, it only works on the FFRR with the indash Satnav TV and it is a £400 option on HSE's or £2600 if you don't have the colour TV satnav - standard on Vogue, Vogue SE and S/C! It might work on the 2007 RRS with the Nav TV though.............. It's a rather expensive toy!  A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

They're pretty cool.
I had a chance to play with one on the LR Experience. You could hold it out the window and point it at a wheel and you could see on the SatNav screen what was happening. Also very useful for hitching up a trailer. Someone could simply stand by the rear of the car holding the camera for you.
All kinds of other interesting uses with a bit of imagination
