It won't be long before people buying these cars second hand with Tasmods sills on will think they wer ea factory fit option...

Tasmod, you should approach LR and sell the rights to the design! You'd make a packet, they'd sell them for £500 a pop.

Mine came in the post yesterday! They look terrific - can't wait to see them installed. I've enjoyed sending these out all over the world and it gives me a kick that something I designed has worked out so well for people.

I could take it further and sell some to dealers but strangely they are reluctant to buy them.
I have made offers to 4 dealerships now and each was very enthusiastic but went no further.

I saw them as a way to redress the secondhand market where the sills are scratched and need a respray to present the car in a good light. This went mostly for the 'Discovery' version, as there are more used D3s than Sports.

I also considered they were a good 'freebie' to help sell the cars but maybe LRs sell so well they don't need to.

PS. You're still the only one in Germany
