No Sound from Playstation 2!

I have a 2007 RR sport V6. It's my first one. There's a playstation 2 fitted under the rear passenger seat with Maxxline screens built into the headrests for the rear passengers to view. I'm trying to play DVD's for the kids through the playstation. I get the picture fine, but i don't get any sound! I have been told by someone that these maxxline screens have wireless headphones, but none came with the vehicle. There is a normal headphone port to plug my headphones into on the screans that I though would work, but there's no sound coming out of that. I've never had a Playstation before, so i'm new to thier settings etc.

Can anyone help? Derek

I don't have DVDs in my car so not sure of the setup, however if you have an aux port for the radio you may be able to connect the RCA phono cables from the PS2 to an adapter which then plugs into your aux socket and then plays through the radio?

One of these adapters...

Or it might be that the RCA phono leads from the PS2 haven't been connected to the screens?

The aux idea will be a good work around if you can't figure out how to use headphones.

Alternatively you can use one of these to play the sound from the PS2 RCA phono leads directly into headphones?

Hope this helps. Thumbs Up
