Not really sure why the story focusses so much on their sexuality and family life. Surely the story is just "dickhead doesn't realise the limits of his vehicle". But that would be just a two line story.

This is the Mail though - hardly defenders of an inclusive society... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I'm surprised the title wasn't 'society mourns as two gay men survive drowning' that'd be sadly more Daily Mail!

Oman 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

But seriously, they were only rescued by a passing Fire Crew Question

Why didn't they just walk out of the puddle, it doesn't look 5ft deep as stated by the DM... Also, I'm sure they had a mobile phone, couldn't they have used that Exclamation Question

Will they be invoiced for the 15 firemen used to rescue them for being so wreckless and stupid in the first place, and when they could have walked out without the assistance of a dingy Question 2006 RRS S/C CONSTANTLY under modification...

The water there is about 3-4 feet deep I reckon. I've walked through flood water that wasn't that deep and it's not a pleasant experience when you see "stuff" floating around you in the cold water. Even worse if there is a noticeable current as it can feel like you're going to lose your footing.

Having said that, I'd have probably waded out in their position.

Interesting to read some of the comments at the bottom of the page now. Some thinly-veiled (and some overt) anti-gay stuff in there. All fairly typical Daily Moan stuff really. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
