I had his problem in my RRS the drain off pipes were blocked. The pipes run down your left and right A pillars and drain out in the wheel arches. If the water can't drain off because the pipes are blocked it will back up in the pipes, overflow in to your roof lining once the tray that collects the water is full! The water will run about on top of the roof lining as you drive under acieration it will run to the back, if you park on a slope it may run to the rear of the roof and settle there? I had it run out of the interior light fitting under breaking! Big Cry

I tried pushing a thin rod down the pipes to unblock them - thought I'd done it until the water started coming out in the foot wells but not before it had drained over an ECU under the dash!! Whistle Cheers Laurence.

Best way to unblock drain tubes is to blow them clear Mike

Hi Alan,

There are also drainage pipes that go to the rear of the car. Have a look at this thread on the disco site - think it's the same for the sports...

Hope this helps! Thumbs Up
