Australia 2013 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Fuji White
Genuine parts suppliers in Aus...

Hi All,

Looking around the web, there doesn't seem to be too many non-dealer genuine parts suppliers here in Aus?

Can anyone recommend any?

I'm thinking of getting a genuine boot liner (VPLSS0043) e.g. this item here on eBay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Genuine-Range-R..._770wt_179

Quote from dealer is around $250...

There aren't many, I pretty much always order any parts for my RRS from the UK. Cheaper by quite a margin and delivered much quicker than anything bought here in Oz.

It's worth dropping an email to 'The Large One' over on disco3, Nick's the parts manager at Yeovil Land Rover. I recently had a cubby box cooler off him, ordered it over the phone on a Thursday night here in Melb, it was delivered first thing Monday morning. Ex-G4 Challenge RRS HSE, BV55 YZE. Subtle shade of orange ! Now registered YZE481 G4RRS in Melbourne.

might have to check this out... $700 for front brake pads at a Melbourne LR seems a little excessive......

Zilch, apparently it was the cost of the pads only.

Why would you go to a dealer to get brakes fitted? There is nothing special about RRS brakes so why not use a brake specialist - much better service, much cheaper and more options for pads etc.

2 points:

the number i gave you was for Pads and Rotors fitted by LR all round, so 700 just for a set of pads seems excessive.

As per GC's note on my MY06 i got the pads and rotors changed far cheaper by AJX quickfit.. and once by a LR Specialist service company (not dealership).

The new MY10 has the same pads and rotors after nearly 50K, the old MY06 would be just starting its 3rd set by now at the same odo reading Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
