2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Luxury Zermatt Silver
Battery Died and Locked out

Hi, am new to the forum

But i have a problem:(

The Range Rover has not been used for 2 weeks and the battery in the car is dead.

Tried to unlock it via the key but no reaction.

Is there a manual key slot i can open the door?

If so how do i do it? i dont want to break the door handle.

any help will be great, cheers.

Yes the front passenger side door (assuming a RHD car) can be unlocked manually. Have a look at this:

http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/co...p;id=66046

Click on "Controls and Instruments" in the left hand panel and find "Emergency locking/unlocking" on page 49.

Glad to have helped. Had to overcome the urge to reply with just "RTFM" or something similar because that might sound harsh to someone locked out of their car Smile
