Taggarts

RRS was in for a few bits and bobs today, car they gave me was a freelander , the cheek.......
anyway bl00dy thing was dirty and not just a wee bit road grime it looked like it had been off road, was covered in b1rd Censored too Censored Inside was equally as dirty and Mrs Pea gave me an earful when she got a stain on her trousers as a result of the food left for us on the passenger seat Laughing

What annoyed me most was that i had to get the pressure washer out and clean the windscreen as it was covered in bugs. Was so tempted to blast TAGGARTS up the side with the jet wash but its the car is red so it prob wouldn't have worked very well. Rolling Eyes and the OCD in me would have ended up cleaning it properly.

Anyway Service managers excuse was they usually clean them all prior to sending them out , nice excuse mate. They did offer to send someone out to wash it but i thought that might be rather uncomfortable when the poor car valeter turned up Rolling with laughter

On a more positive note the car drives ok, interior is a bit of a cross in between a new RRS and older RRS, seems they raided the parts bin when designing it.

It does annoy me when that happens, have had a similar experience from BM though.
Best one was a 318i (soooooo under powered) I was given whilst mine was in, a baby had thrown up in it the day before, the stench of baby sick was horrific. Ended up driving it with all the windows open.
Fair enough, accidents happen, but you can imagine my joy when the garage requested to keep my car in over night. Evil or Very Mad

Within 45 minutes of them making that request, I had a brand new 330D (non sick smelling) delivered for exchange with my puke mobile. Good resolution to the problem, but shouldn't have happened in the first place. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
MERCEDES GL350 - Metallic Navy Blue w/Grey interior

GOING: BMW F31 335D MSport+ xDrive Touring
GONE: Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE - Stornaway Grey w/Black Interior (wish we'd kept it Banging Head )
GONE: BMW F10 520D MSport - Carbon Black
GONE:MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ivory/Grand Black Privacy glass

Could be worst....I handed BMW my 18 month old E60 M-Sport and they gave me a poxy 1.6 Mini for 2 days as I was under 25!

A bit of a moan to the service manager and I was given an almost brand new 130i coupe Cool LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch.

Yes it was, admit it, you couldn't care if it was dirty or not, it was the fact you got a Freelander Whistle Rolling with laughter ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
