2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

Sat nav

Ok maybe some silly questions but I can't get the answers in the books!
My DVD sat nav box, will it play DVDs?!
My sat nav doesnt appear to have the built in tv option, it is there when I select which format of screen I want on the sat nav but is an opaque image. Is this something that can be added with software?
If I do have to buy a damn box to have tv, who's is best?
