Insurance Warning

Just fitted 20" wheels to my RRS so I thought I better inform my insurer. They would not accept the change !! I have gone fron 19" to 20", they are genuine products, correctly load rated with the correct tyres.
So had to change insurers, most are happy to quote, you then give them the wheel details and the quote doubles ! I have eventually found an insurer (A*M*R*L) who accepted the wheels without a huge increase in the premium !
So beware of those Mod's and what it could do to your policy !
Also be aware that undisclosed Mod's could result in you being uninsured in the event of an accident. So as well as the insurer not wanting to pay, you could also be charged for being uninsured.

That's seems so b(**^t!

My 56 reg was on '19 and my 59 is on '20...both standard from new. For LandRover, 20 is the new 19... don't understand what's wrong with the insurance companies in this country.... Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

Just another example of "Rip Off Britain"......

But here's a better one, wife was hit by another driver who drove off. Eventually tracked down by the police. Cost me 100 quid to have her as a named driver even although the incident shows as not her fault and she did not submit a claim ! How do they work that out ???
They just really take the P Censored

One quote I had took it from 429 to 859 due to the wheels. Ironic that I changed my policy last month as it went up by 300, now back with the same insurer 200 less with the wheels !!!!!!!
