2.7 TDV6 and the 3.6 TDV8 any common recurring faults?

I'm looking at purchasing my first LR in the forthcoming weeks. I have researched hours and hours but decided its best to ask the people that own them as the internet reviews are usually disgruntled customers and not people logging on to praise!!
is there any particular years or models to be vary of?

Are there any things that should be scrutinised when purchasing one of the diesel models? I'm looking to spend around
£20-£25000
