Spotted these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Land-Rover-Discovery...dZViewItem I was under the impression that only headphones with a lead work in the RRS. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

VA, I thought that the ICE pack came with/compatible with wireless headphones.

A mate of mine has a FFRR with an aftermarket kit inc. PS2 and 2 x wireless headphones. 06 RRS TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony, PTI, Running Boards, Privacy, S/C Grille/Vents, Stormers, Tasmods, Black Badge Soon...

I sure you can only use a set of headphones with a lead

If not there is no point with the headphone Jack by the window Confused RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

I may be wrong ? but...........

In the supercharged I have rear controls on the rear door ledge, which includes a socket for headphones. This then enables people in the rear [ KIDS ] to listen to what they want without annoying mum/dad/others and front seat passengers can stil enjoy the radio Very Happy

RSE = Now, this may include the ability to connect via infra red as well.

Sorry to repeat myself but...

I am convinced they support wireless headphones.

The dealer add on in the LR brochure which is the roof mounted central screen unit definitely supports wireless. I know, because I regularly read it to decide what to fritter my money on next! 06 RRS TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony, PTI, Running Boards, Privacy, S/C Grille/Vents, Stormers, Tasmods, Black Badge Soon...

Another LR nonsense?

Headphones with wires is very low tech these days.

I wouldn't have thought this would be the case with such a high tech vehicle! 06 RRS TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony, PTI, Running Boards, Privacy, S/C Grille/Vents, Stormers, Tasmods, Black Badge Soon...

I think wireless headphones will only work if you have the DVD system.

People that dont have the DVD system will need to use the standard jack in the door.

I was wondering about the same thing, and I emailed autowebaccessories about the headphones they are selling for the RRS and they replied to me that they were wireless indeed (see link below for headphones/ no pictures unfortunately!)

I am still wondering though, if the headphones use infrared, then could we just buy any other IR wireless headphones ? ( exple: http://www.autoaccessconnect.com/wiinheaumv.html )
