How To Remove Side Vents

No Tools Required



To start off with there are 4 clip behind the vent (Tip you will need to pull the clips out in the order show in the pics)



View of the back of the vent



(Step 1) To remove the vent you need to pull on the outside of the vent from the top left corner



(Step 2) You then need to lift up and out by clip 2 (The second clip is in the bottom left corner as shown in the pic) TIP, The best way is to pull on the top of the vent by clip 1 and out from the inside through the mesh By the bottom fin




(Step 3) When you have the first 2 clips out pull on the bottom of the vent very hard to get the third clip out and then the rest of the vent should just pop off





To refit the vent all you need to do is slide in the top 2 clips in first


Then just push in the bottom two




Finished vent should look like this


Now repeat on the other side Very Happy RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

Maybe Martin could put a "sticky" on this to keep it at the top of the thread listing in Techy bits? A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.
