Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 SE Stornoway Grey
Service Interval 2010 RRS TDV8

I had my 1st service 'B' at 24,000 km as per service book.

Dealer service sticker says next service due at 36,000 km or 30/08/2011.

Car is now 12 months old & now has 37,000 km on the clock.

The service book says service every 12 month or 24,000 km since last service 'A' or 'B'.

So what is it, service due now or wait till I reach 48,000 km?

Also anyone know what a 'A' service is versus a 'B' service?

Confused

I was told that the standard service interval was 1 year or 24 months KM's Whistle what ever came first

The pre MY10 models were 6 months/12000 K's what ever came first, so wondered if they mistook your model for an older version after the first serviced it Whistle i have heard of many horror stories from the LRA dealer chain, just ask some of the ANZ forum members Laughing

Thanks for the reply Zilch.

I think you are right about the dealer mixing things up.

I'll stick to the service book - 12 months or 24,000km since last service.

WPA, maybe worth just giving one of the other dealers a buzz to confirm scheduling on your model as a form of back up.

Thanks

Service intervals

My 2010 d4 has oil change every 24000k or 12 months and a health check every 6 months. This is due to the fact that they using a fancy new oil. My 08 RRS TDV8 every 12000k or 6 months.I would check with your dealer. ULR, MLR and Lance Dixon have all been good for me.

Rangiejools SDV8 arrived and fantastic even the infotainment!
1983 2 door Range Rover ARB Bar X9000 winch ARB Rear Bar now semi retired.
Many big trips done in this one.
1982 Rangerover nearly restored.
22 Defender D250 with lots of stuff for outback touring
Nice 2013 Freelander TD4 manual (for daughter to learn on) with much better stereo compared with previous SD4 SE with Meridian which sounded bad!
2013 Land Rover Defender ute.

Nick, Melbourne in winter can get down to zero .. so MikeS may want to pack his thermals, and top temps in the summer. Sydney can get down to about 3-4 C in winter and the odd occasion zero, most mornings when i leave for work its about 6c, you can go skiing in the Snowy Mountains this time of year at Thredbo and Perisher sky Resorts Thumbs Up which are about halfway between Sydney and Melbourne .. So not always hot and sunny, not unless of course you go to the whitsundays this time of year where it is a pleasant 25c and sunny Thumbs Up Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Confirmed with dealer. 1 Year or 24,000km standard. They had a mid oil change scheduled at 36,000km but said this was optional Whistle

Re: Temp, I live near Bright in Vic and temps below 0c many nights during winter and 40c+ in summer. Supposedly I live in the area that has the greatest temperature difference summer - winter in Australia.

Would love to move to QLD but kids and wife won't have a bar of it Big Cry
