I know the hourly rate of your brother in law: dinner and Haägen Dasz... Laughing But I guess yours is a little higher and has just been raised to pay the two new cars. Nice, Stelvio was my first long run out in my RRS, went over it just before they closed it for the winter and there was virtualy no traffic on it until I started down the other side. Also went over the Umbrial pass on the way back.
Once my son is out of hospital we are heading to Austria for a week or so in August, he wants me to go via the Stelvio but it is a little out the way so have found another route for him from BMW's website which takes in som mountain passes. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Switzerland 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Afternoon all.

I'm based in Zug, Switzerland and just joined the forum because I've just bought an RRS TDV8 (2008)

I did the Autobahns and french motorways in my last car (Audi RS4) as well as taking it up the Gotthard pass and the Stelvio Pass. Fantastic drive and can thoroughly recommend taking any car over the mountain passes...

But I'm more than looking forward to taking the RRS up and down some 'slopes' in Switzerland Smithy

Even with a TDV8 the only passes on the autobahn are the Mercs passing you, 210km/h still feels slow on the Autobahn.

Now we did go past Stuttgart last summer but decided to keep on going as we had heard about Angel and McB ... Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
