Satnav query

I've read the handbook but can't find any reference to this;

I haven't got my car yet, but is it possible to store any user destinations in the satnav like I can on my Tomtom Go?
From the instructions, it looks like you need to enter address or postcode for every destination. I wondered if it was possible to pre-enter all your favourite destinations, then just recall them when required?

Has anyone managed to load in a speed camera database?

Thanks.

Bob. RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a 60k pile of cr4p!

I often enter 3-4 destinations before a trip to an unfamiliar location. I've also entered many of my common destinations into named and grouped memory points... all before I actually drove there.

Sorry, no way to alter the map data for speed camera info...

Ah, thanks Grommet. I'll have to read the handbook again.

I used the "hack" (to enter info when driving) atthe weekend - S W E E T !

It worked a treat. I much prefer the BMW X5 system though, it shows you the route given in rao names and numbers so you get an idea where the hell you are off to.

It took me 4.5 hours to get from the Ardennes (Luxembourg) to Calais on Monday and half the time I was sure I was going inthe wrong direction!

Too much touch screen stuff for my liking It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!

I miss my old RRS "bucket" rattling around but it just had to go!
