I offer an exchange service on the bluetooth modules ...i would send you a module with the latest software on it ...you swap it ( takes about 5 mins and very easy on the RRS ) then return the old module to me .

I am suspecting you may have something wrong with the module ( or something else ) if you cant pair at all .

Normally the issues are ..will pair , but you have to do it everytime you get in the car ...or there is no phonebook transfered to the radio display .

If it is faulty , then i dont realy want to end up with a module i cant reprogram .

The basic nokias should have no problem pairing . When searching on the phone for bluetooth devices , does it find any thing ? Bluetooth Exchange www.bluetoothexchange.co.uk

im not overly hung up on the phone book issue.
just being able to pair and take calls would keep me happy at this stage.
can i send you the module first and let you take a look?
if its no use then just send it back. if it looks like all is not lost then you can make the exchange?

let me know.

Hi Wiggs
I have been reading your posts on the D3 site and here regarding the different modules for Bluetooth phonebook.
I have RRS 2007 with all the mentioned requirements i.e. voice control, red green phone keys and sat nav, I have ihpone 3gs and connects ok but interested in the phonebook transfer fix and like to enquire if the on sat nav screen option works for RRS, COULD YOU POSSIBLY PM ME DETAILS AND COSTS PLEASE IF STILL AVAILABLE, THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Hello everybody, been reading this fantastic site for a while now but only just signed up. Have been driving my 07 HSE for a while now and absolutely love it, there are of course 1 or 2 little niggles that do annoy though and the bluetooth / contacts list problem is one of them. So...

Wiggs, Is this upgrade opportunity still available?
If so I would be very intersted. Although my system works perfectly, pairs with my old N95 every time, and works with the voice dial system too, I do find the lack of contact list to be frustrating.

If this option is still available, please let me know, also... would you be able to give me a few pointers as to where the bluetooth module is located and how easy is it to swap.

Thanks.
