I guess all of u will agree that low profile tires will not give enough area that will protect your wheels and any scratches will cause unbalance witch lead to vibration see how bad it could be in this picture (link)

I had a similar scratch to one of my rims, due to a close curb parking incident. I got it fixed by getting my rim repainted it was $150 including balancing of the tire! RRS 4.2 Supercharged Black/Black

does that cause any vibration before you repaint it Rolling Eyes but I guess repainting will not add a removed metal to the wheel...I have this problem with my Evo 8 and I have to balance it...now it is vibrating like never before at 60 miles
