My 2007 RRS doesnt warn me about speed cameras like the new model. Does anyone know if I can get it upgraded? Andy Fallon

This has been discussed a million times (at least).

I have the '09 model, and it doesn't warn me either, and there is no forward way to download these POIs and upload them into the LR NavTeq system.

As mention, none of the range rover sport sold or to be sold will warn you of speed camera.

Why is every one so worried about speed cameras Yawn

If you don't know where they are likely to be on a road you know well ie. 20,30,40 and road works........then the chances are you are going too fast so ease off a little. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Josh it's like tax - you know you have to pay it but you don't want to! A good tax avoidance scheme is always welcome. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Me thinks the answer is YES

Knew I had seen this somewhere, took me a few minutes to dig it out of the inter-nurdle Very Happy

But according to these guys...............

http://www.pimp-my-nav.com/

................ this is entirely possible - who knows? Not had time to have a delve into it Exclamation

And you get the new POI's (points of interest) Rolling Eyes from here.............

Just a thought. Have fun!! Smoke me a kipper: I'll be back for breakfast.

RRS HSE TDV6 gone after 15 months since new - will not be missed I'm afraid - bit of a gremlin in there somewhere - too many issues. Replaced with FFRR Vogue TDV8 - very nice - not as sporty (of course) but absolute luxury.

That's right, some systems can be "modified" to upload the SCs as POIs. However this was tried with the Navteq system in the Land Rovers, and it didn't work. If someone figures out how.... fan-f......-tastic.

I have downloaded their compatability checking software and will check the RRS disc and report back but i see no reason why you cannot add the POI file to the RRS sat nav POI database but it will require burning a new disc.

Again, better not in Switzerland (and France). You could finish your trip with a confiscated vehicle
and a nice fine. 2010 TDV6 3.0 HSE Santorini Black Tan Full Leather
