Just to let members know we can now remove the speed limiter on all RR Sport TDV6 engines. We have developed this modification purely for the German market

Do you mean the rev limiter for the engine or the vehicle top speed limiter ?

Must admit at 115 mph it's like driving a truck at 56 mph with the speed limiter coming in. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

As far as we understand all the TDV6's have the same road speed limit across the world. Approximately 190 km/h.

So if you're German customer insist they remove it....bet they wont be able to

What will be top speed then without limiter?

Is it tyre speed ratings I wonder, although the SC has more top speed.

I havent tested the top speed as I already have 9 points on my licence

I'm sure with its 'brick like' aerodynamics probably 135, maybe 140 mph

Sounds good to me too but I wonder how you, being based in the UK are going to do it? Will you be stationed at a service station somewhere in Germany for a week or so?

I am based in Switzerland right at the German border, so Stuttgart or even Frankfurt would suit me well.

It looks like I will be doing a world tour!!

If forum members can get together at a location that suits all, then I am more than happy to either drive or fly over europe to carry out these conversions
