Car in low power mode ?

Hi guys my car has another problem, now when you turn it off the sat nav is still on and the message is low power mode. The phone appears stuck on and none of the mode buttons work ie cd radio etc. Does anyone have any ideas.

Hello dellis, your best bet is to do a couple of resets, ei put the key fob turn it in order to do the self check befor you start the car. I happened to me 2-3 times so far with 7.5k miles. I don't have the integrated phone, but the Sat Nav was on after i took out the key. I did 2-3 times the reset and corrected it self. if with so many electronics we have only this problem we are blessed.. Smile I remember my fathers car (69 Singer,,!) had only 3 fuses. If something was wrong he was changing all 3 and done... Cool

Low power mode is used for all infotainment electronics when your engine is off and you are trying to use it. Also, the infotainment system doesn't immediately turn off. This is by design.

Not sure what you mean by "the phone appears stuck"... what does the radio LCD say? Can you turn the radio on and off? More details if you want more feedback...

Dellis, my car displays the low power mode if I switch the engine off with anything like iPod/phone/PSP cahrging in lighter socket.

I presume it's to save car battery if you leave things charging in the car with the engine off. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
