:-( Lookers Park Royal!!!!

Not impressed with my first dealings of the service department. Mad

Had the car booked in today for some warranty work. This was booked in two weeks ago and a courtesy car arranged. I turned up today to be told they have no car available as it produced a gearbox fault yesterday. Ok yeah these things happen I accepted that but a courtesy call would have been nice to safe me a wasted trip.

Seems like usual garage stuff to me. Sales excellent but once they have your money they dont really care.

These things happen....

Not Lookers(but a different dealership who I was impressed with during sales cycle), but:

Yesterday, my dealer was to pick up my car from home and give an RRS while they perform the QE093 update and turbo valve replacement recall....

Replacement car turned up, my car driven away.... I then noticed that the car they had delivered HAD NO TAX DISC IN IT!!!!

It turns out that it is an offence worthy of 3 points and a £200 pound fine to drive the car under such circumstances.
The dealer returned with my car as they were not keen in allowing me to drive with no Tax disc. Still awaiting a call to tell me when they plan to try and do the recall on my car..... 2010MY HSE 3.0 TDV6. Stornoway Grey/Ivory. Extended leather, winter pack.

Apologies. Am off today but have emailed Matthew Gurney and our Service Manager Matthew Green. May be too late for a response today. Obviously not being there I am not aware of the circumstances but what I would say Is that Matthew Green was aware of your booking, therefore I can only assume it was unavoidable.

Hopefully they will be able to rebook with a loan car asap.

Thanks James.

I didn't have an issue with it being unavoidable. The point was that the loan car had the fault yesterday so was known that it wouldn't be available today and nobody bothered to ring. If they phoned this morning and said there was an issue i would have just rebooked it. Instead I had a wasted journey to be told when I got there. I also had to take time out of work this afternoon to drop it off which also was a waste of time!

BIG DJ I had the same thing with a BMW dealership so it happens everywhere but a bit of common courtesy would be nice but I'm sure there was a valid reason. Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"
