Navigation - maps frm different dvd to merge - possible?

I am living in north Croatia and offten I am in need to change DVD when I travel to Italy and then to Slovenia, Serbia ... Is it possible somehow to merge several country maps from both DVDs and place them on one DVD in order not to change them on daily basis?

While it is possibe on some other systems based on the Navteq maps, there seems to be a lack of independ developement on the system as fitted to the LR.

While we were at Kielder Forest a couple of weeks ago the RRS satnav showed a great expanse of nothing on the screen the wife's TomTom Go910 showed that we were still on roads all through out the day. It would be great if we could put in higher detailed maps into the SatNav on the RRS.

My Garmin Zumo for my motorbike has maps of western and central europe on it but I can customise which regions I want it to have and it goes as far east as the Black Sea.
