Bluetooth connection

Hi

Can anyone give me any tips. I have a Nokia 6500 slide phone which I have successfully paired to my RRS. The problem I have is that after leaving the vehicle, it won't re-connect automatically when i re-enter. I have to go through the phone menu and enter 2121 every time. My phone still shows 'LANDROVER' in the 'my devices menu on my phone, but as I say, it won't connect automatically. I don't think that there is a problem with the phone as it connects automatically to my work's van.

I have read the naviagation & telephone systems manual and noticed that a maximum of 8 phones can be paired to the vehicle. Is there a way of finding out how many phones are paired tot he vehicle? If so, can I delete some of the pairings (prehaps made by a previous owner)

Any tips would be gratefully received.

Thanks for your reply. I have checked my phone and auto connect is switched on. Do you have any other suggestions?

This is so frustrating because once the phone is manually connected it functions fine via bluetooth.

I was having the same problem but this is how i solved it..

If you go to the Bluetooth setting on your phone, find your Land Rover connection, then options.. You need to make sure the connection is set to "autherised connection"

This basically allows your phone to connect when the Land Rover Bluetooth is found and connects auto without you having to key in the code Thumbs Upa Range Rover Sport TDV8 OVERFINCH ECU remap/tuned, 22" Satin Black Tigers, Black/Black, sideskirts, tints, clear ind, 09 upgrades +++

Plus others......
