United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Cairns Blue
Hillendale,nelson,lancs.

First time i took my vechile into a garage only had it since feb, anyway took it in for the 47k miles service. they was supposed to provide me a lift back to blackburn,i got there at 0830,there driver turnd up @ 10, no point going anywhere then so i declined the lift. I would have thought a break fluid change would be part of the 47k service but appaerently not, its back in on friday for pads and disks all round and a few other minor things. The prices they charge seem to me like they know they have a monopoly in the area,i didnt like the way the staff looked @ you all snotty nosed (mind i was still in my work clothes i work nights) they also said there was exsesive whear on the inside of the passenger front wheel! funny that, i had a new tyre put on drivers front last week and got kwik fit to check the other tyres, nothing wrong then. But what realy realy p issed me off was the fact a mini valet was supposed to be included in the service, they made a good job of washing it but inside was well......the leather seats had been wiped over with a dirty wet cloth leaveing horriable dirty marks they attempted to hoover it out, but there attempt at it was more than obvious in the boot wich still had half a blanket of dog fur in. I can garuntee when this fridays work is done ill be useing independant garage. I expected better from a dealer tbh. https://s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/i.hubnu...2c073c.gif

Welcome to the joys of the Land Rover Dealer Network, your story sounds similiar to some of mine, and plenty of others on here. Evil or Very Mad

Great Car - Poor Service. Shocked

To be fair though, some LR Dealers have excellent feedback on here. CHPR in London being one of them, not used them myself, but considering it. Not very local to you, but try searching in the dealer feedback section for ones nearer you. There is some positive feedback in there honest. Thumbs Up

WWNW,

You should never fit one new tyre on a 4x4 Exclamation They have to be done in pairs on the same axle, which might be what your garage are getting at.

There might be a maximum wear where you possibly can do it, but you need advice from an expert on this.

Kwikfit tried this one with me couple weeks ago. Even my maintenance contract people said so as well that you can't do that to a 4x4.

So I advise you change the other one PDQ before you cause some other very expensive problems Exclamation TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone
