These type lights are the new design for MY10, so I suspect they will have been EU type approved Thumbs Up

have a look at my gallery, I have them installed since the beginning of this year. I liked them very much at first, but I see more and more other cars with these installed as a cheap tunning, so I am actually thinking about taking them out.

I doubt that they are legal, even though 2010 model has similar lights. But similar is not the same and sometimes similar makes a big difference. So far I had no problems with police and I guess you can always fool them that this is original land rover.

if you wonder about halo colour. I have 10000k, and think it is a bit too bright. if I could choose again I would go for 6000k or 8000k My name: Patryk

Can we get a square on picture with the Xenons on and off.

Do they operate on side lights or are they proper driving lights ?? L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

they are just side lights. they are too weak to be used as driving lights, so I actually wired them together with sidelights.

there are pictures with and without xenon in my gallery.

I am not able to take any new pictures at the moment. I will try to do it later. My name: Patryk

These lights are obviously NOT legal, since the original headlight is changed in its original characteristics.
At least this is what the Italian Standards say, but I rekon that UE is the same.

No matter the components have the CE stamp.

However, considering that the 2010 RRS has them, I would be surprised if somebody was fined.

I like them a lot.
Did you buy them on the web from that American seller.
Could you please tell me how did you open the headlight, at which temperature and if the installation was tough?
Thanks.
Gianluca

If it`s not legal in Italy it must be definitely illegal in Switzerland. Wink But how much people know it? Wink So I think it doesn`t matter. Razz

Yes, I bought them on US ebay.
I gave it to a guy who is specialising in car electrics and altering lights from US specs to EU specs, so I don't know the details, but it is not all that easy as he said. he charged me € 150 for this. My name: Patryk
