United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Newcomer to Site - Guy Salmon Coventry

Hello Boys and Girls, newbie to site but not to poor dealership customer service.

Been reading the thread below on Guy Salmon Coventry.

Placed a few calls to them this morning and no one has bothered to ring me back so far. Shame really, as the recovery lorry has just taken my RR Sport away from my home address and is heading towards them.

It appears the anti roll bar has jumed out of it's bushings again!! (God knows) but this was only repaired 10 days ago. Something is banging the front passenger underframe every time we go over a bump.

Since new (it is 7 months old):

New centre console (old one fell aprt with a week of new).
New seat memory module (put the seats where it wanted them, not us).
2 new suspension height sensors (on 2 different occassions).
New front drivers seat (kept moving under braking).
2 new sets of PDC sensors as on all the time (on 2 different occassions).
Rear tailgate removed and re-fitted as it moved and could not be closed.
Anti roll bar mounts loose/failed (now twice).

Plus a few other bangs and rattles...................

And the dealership service desk do not care. Just hand the keys back each time.

Had the car handed back to me filthy. Things claimed to have been fixed but not touched. Things claimed to be fixed but forgot to say parts are on back order. Never ring back (still waiting this morning).

Bad, bad, bad. Evil or Very Mad

Sold a BMW 535d M Sport Tourer and bought this................ why oh why. Big Cry

Never again.

This is a leased car and they are in for some ear ache this morning (politley of course).

I had better have a read through the web site and educate myself a bit more. Smoke me a kipper: I'll be back for breakfast.

RRS HSE TDV6 gone after 15 months since new - will not be missed I'm afraid - bit of a gremlin in there somewhere - too many issues. Replaced with FFRR Vogue TDV8 - very nice - not as sporty (of course) but absolute luxury.

Number one move in times like this is to change dealership. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

As Martin says - change service centre. I would also detail your complaints and send a letter to LR customer services and cc Phil Popham, CEO of LR. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

Change dealers pronto. Phone LR assist, get them to turn the lorry round and send your pride and joy to another dealer.

Send stern letter to DP and cc LR technical centre via fax. It shouldn't be the way, but unfortunately sometimes the weeds are immune to the killer and continue to strangle a flourishing flower bed. Evil or Very Mad
