Hadn't seent this event before but it sounds like a great idea. I'm in. I may be able to wangle a decent deal for us at a De Vere course also (except the Belfry).

I live only minutes from Carden Park and dropped my membership there only two months back but I am friends with the head Pro there so may be able to get a decent deal still.

I went on a boys jolly to Spain last year for a golfing/socialising trip - well worth doing if you're a golfer. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Fingers crossed the thread has sparked again and JonnyFresh can maybe get something arranged at a location between London and Manchester? Possibly make it a comp between North and South?

Sorry JayMann Thumbs Up cheers Supertrotter

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Does anybody know of a course where they would allow RRS's onto the trails normally used for electric golf buggies?

Jay - I last played golf in 1971 and that wasn't very successful, I consider Golf to fall into the category of the last question in the poll, but voted "absolutely" ................................. you can always caddy for somebody.

Anybody thought of combining this with the summer/autumn meet - have an RRSport.co.uk weekend? Sometime round about the launch of the 2010MY launch? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Just a thought here - how about doing something over the August Bank Holiday in the New Forest - there are golf courses, good hotels, good B&B's beautiful campsites, The National Motor Museum, mountain biking trails in the Forest, Bucklers' Hard to visit, an Aston Martin/Ferrari/ Maserati dealership to ogle, there's even offroading at Minstead for anybody interested. This wouldn't just get RRS owners together but also offer something to families apart from getting bored stupid listening to fathers gassing on about their RRS's 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Good idea Tim. We need a way of incorporating the non-golfers into the day and that sounds like a viable option.

I think adding an element of competition would be a great idea.

Perhaps the non-golfers could caddy for the golfers Whistle

Or a really fun game is called "Foxes & Rabbits" where a golfer plays with a non-golfer against another team of 2 (1 golfer, 1 non-golfer) the golfer (Fox) takes any shots not on green and the rabbit (non-golfer) does all the putting Laughing .

Can't play the above on any kind of prestigious course though, for it would be frowned upon! Rolling Eyes

theres some very good deals to be had at Turnberry and Gleneagles.........both locations would suit RRS to a T (pun intended) I dont have a RRS......(YET) plus I havent played Gowf in 3 years but these are the courses that would attract the Yanks - no offense - to our shores Clones are people two

Carden Park by mine may be an option. they have a whole raft of outdoor activities that you can do including proper woodland assault course, 4x4 course (I've not seen it mind), quad biking, archery AND two golf courses!

That could easily cater for the non golfers. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award
