I heard he's buying a Black RRsport TDv6 HSE.................... A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

TDv8 HSE - Stornoway Grey with ebony and straight grain walnut wood-a-like interior with towpack, Tasmods. The best car I have ever owned
Now departed - Giverny Green TDv6SE with Aspen and Parchment interior - nearly the best car I have ever owned
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

well.. its always the way with a brand spanking new premium motor.. i heard the same tales when i was looking at the range rover sport, there were even attempts from the land rover dealership where i got mine from. They ended up hiding two supercharged models in another dealer round the corner! i only know as they showed me them to see the difference between the diesel HSE and the SC..

By the time i'll get mine, all the cars being stolen to order will have already been nicked. Im MR. Paranoid anyway, watch for cars following me, don't take same routes home etc.. don't have a fixed timetable.. did my IAM advanced test and the copper instructor told me about always having an escape route at lights etc when pulling up behind cars, as this is most common way of hijacking cars.

Mine will be garaged every night, and trackered.. lot of premium motors in my area, so hopefully won't stand out too much, obviously its a risk driving these cars, but i would prefer not to be confronted by an armed gun/knife man, would rather a cat burglar came for the keys while we were all sleeping..

I will be time zoning my tracker, and will take all necessary precautions, but its like with anything, if they want it bad enough they will get it no matter what, just got to make it as hard for them as possible.. Past: Bmw M3 Coupe 57, 335d Coupe 56, Audi RS4 06, RR Sport TD HSE 05,

Jeez... I suppose I've either spent my life under a rock (unlikely) or I live in a nice crime free area, but it surprises me that this is a such a big thing. Who'd expect to have to go to the trouble of protecting your new car over and above normal "lock it when you walk away" type thing... what is the world coming to. This sort of thing makes my blood boil.. I was watching Car Wars last night and found myself starting to get wound up at the temerity of these idiots who think they can do what they want to the detriment of other people's property!!

Sorry... off my soapbox now Wink

Yep, I couldn't believe that... and what's worse, the cops always are the first to be looked at when that sort of thing happens. Someone always shouts about how they were being pursued too closely etc etc... it's bollox, all of it. One of my brothers is a traffic plod and gets involved in pursuits - there are so many rules and regulations surround pursuit now that there's no responsibility left anymore. Under certain circumstances, they should allow contact to take these twats off the road, like they do in the US.
