Hi all!

I am fairly new to this forum and let me start by congratulating you all for a great job! I am expecting my S/C RRS sometime early March and as I have seen from a few topics posted here it is not rare that RRS' are delivered with some obvious faults (i.e. different side vents, discolouration, not properly removed protective wax etc). I was wondering wheteher any of you could suggest a checklist of the things I should check for when receiving the car and potentially report them to the dealer right away.  RRS S/C,Bonatti Grey,Ebony Interior,Lined Oak Finish, Rear Lock Dif, DVD,Sunroof,ACC

You have pretty much picked them out. As you will have the Supercharged check all the grilles are the bright silver finish, check your paintwork for blemishes and scratches.

Look at the wheels and check they are all ok, check the appearance of the upholstery and see if the leather looks ok. I have seen some cars where the seat stitching has been all over the place and not in line.

You'll not be able to notice everything on the first day as you get so excited about the new car experience, your eyes go all hazy! By the time you have had it for a week or so and washed it by hand for the first time you'll know the car better.

Don't forget you have 30 days to give it back anyway.

Picking up my HSE tomorrow. RRUK, I couldn't seem to find your checklist in your gallery. Could you perhaps pm it to me.

Read somewhere on the forum that some of you got champers, other freebies etc on delivery. Funny that. Given the general widespread dealer attitude some of which I have been experiencing over the wait, I confess, I'm thinking of carrying a bottle for my dealer! Cheers It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!

I miss my old RRS "bucket" rattling around but it just had to go!

Thanks S. Took delivery today. Went for a long drive to Deutschland and back. Cruise control didnt work, but do I care. Around this vehicle, I'm already wearing the I AM NOT WORTHY look  RRS 2.7TDV6 HSE Java Black, Sun Roof, Tasmod Sills

What is the name of your dealer and where is he located ? in Athens ?
im planning also to order a rrs but im not shure yet if its gonna be the new tdv8 or the s/c
How long it takes in Greece from ordering to delivery ??

Over here, the local LR dealers use this checklist only for sales of used cars. Malaysia Boleh!
