SPEED CAMERA OFFENCES

I didn't know about this - scary - Big Brother is here.

Something that may be of interest to you all. The recent Government legislation changing the Freedom of Information Acts now gives you access to speed camera offences registered within the last twelve months and is placed on a freely accessible website.

Did you know that every time you car goes even a mile or so over the speed limit it is registered and placed on the database? They only send you a ticket if you're well over the limit OR and here's the rub, if you receive over 20 of these near misses. You can check how many you have against your car's registration number at :- http://www.e-database.co.uk

It will ask you for a password, but just click on "need a login" link and you'll be given one in a pop-up window. Once you're in just type in your reg. In the top right hand corner there is a "click on " window and it even shows the picture taken by the camera.

I guess what was coming before I logged in.
Similar to a school photo website that did the rounds about a year ago. Matt

It's crap................... it reckons that I was driving at 89.9mph in Cleveland on the 16th March at 1024 am and when I went back in and retyped my reg it reckoned that 2 minutes later on the same day I was also doing 53mph in Cambridge.......... I wonder how many Giverny Green RR Sports TDv6's there are with my reg? A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.
