My conti's lasted 39K but were knackered for other reasons, not natural tyre wear, just a dealer "f" up, probably would have been good for another 10K ish. The Wranglers i put them on after seem to be wearing a lot faster, 20K so far and i would not like to hazard an exact guess on how long they will last, but i would say no more than 8-12K at the most Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Done 37000km and probably just good for up to another 10000km. Brake pads need repalacing soon though at just under $1000 for a full set and machining of disks Sad The wranglers are great in every respect except for soft sidewalls. I have a couple of large nicks in mine just from parking in my carport! TDV6, MYO7 Java with Ivory leather, 19 inch wheels

i had the standard LR footwear for the MY06, which was the Cross contacts UHP, they lasted until last December but dissolved on the great ocean road due to an alignment cock up.. Had to put the rears on the front to get back to civilisation, therefore went through a full set, check out my gallery Big Cry Laughing Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Not sure Land Rover have a single standard tyre out of the factory, mine had Goodyear Wrangler F1's on my 18" wheels when i collected it.

I recall when I was looking at a BMW X5 (old shape several years ago) that the stealer told me it would come with one of two tyre brands out of the factory and that they thought the Michelin performed far better than the other on the X5 (can't remeber the other) but there was no way of specifying the tyre brand from the factory as it would depend in what stick they were using..
