Ever since I began to buy/lease new cars I had always gone with the bavarians. 328 IS three times in a row, then to an x5 for 2 years, never a vandal. Just picked out my 1st RRS SC less than 3 weeks ago. Already it's been spit on, kicked in the door and yesterday I found a 55 gallon construction barrel on the hood(bonnet). UNBELIEVABLE!! Thank God for the insurance/warranty package i paid extra for. Anyway, I searched these forums and found some old posts about vandalism, is this just part of owning an $80K vehicle, is this normal? I'm quite frustrated by the situation altogether. but at least there will be no cost to repair any of it. Sorry if this has been covered AD NAUSEAM.

Mate sorry to hear about your woes......I can't see that kind of thing happening here - I know in Europe (not necc UK) our cousins love the RRS - they still see it as a very english type of car. And when driving thru London lots of tourists point etc, but never heard of anything other than praise - envy is not a nice thing, when manifested like the way it has been with yours...whatever you do - don't give in to it mate....stay with the RRS 2007 RRS TDV6 HSE JAVA/EBONY SIDE STEPS, REAR GUARDS. 22'' STORMER WHEELS. Found a 6 inch key scratch on my passenger door this weekend. This is the first time my car has gotten keyed. I park in a parking lot and I suspect jealousy since the range is the nicest car in the lot. Fukin Sad here in NJ

Seems the sort of scrotes that do this kind of thing aren't limited to the UK then. Sorry to hear it passatglx

hmm. strange, i thought it's the germans who usually are a jealous if the neighbour has a better car. the image we have from the US is 'hey man, nice car! you can afford it so you must have worked hard for it'. not the place i would expect jealoucy from. RRS SC Bonatti Grey
