It must happen on the TDv6 also as every now and again the engine in my car sounds different at start up! Very noticable! 2008 TDV6 WHITE/EBONY

My car also came with the DPF,even with the cat-back JE system the exhaust note is quite tame on mine too.
Thought about removing the DPF but since it's a quite complex piece of kit I was advized to leave the DPF alone.
Think i'm gonna give John at JE a call to see if they can provide me with a cat bypass to spicen the sound up a bit.
